The broadcast date for the series adaptation “My friend, the disgust” has been postponed.

The broadcast date for the series adaptation “My friend, the disgust” has been postponed: the time has come at the end of September.

The start of the series adaptation of the successful film “Mein Freund, das Ekel” with Dieter Hallervorden (86) in the lead role has been postponed.

As reported by ZDF, the broadcast of the six-part series will now start on Thursday, September 30th on ZDF with double episodes on a weekly basis. However, all episodes will be available in the media library from September 16.

In the series Hallervorden plays the pensioner and misanthropist Olaf Hintz, who loses his apartment in the Berlin district of Charlottenburg and moves into a small prefabricated apartment with the single parent Trixie (Alwara Höfels) and her three children.

Other roles include Julius Gabriel Göze, Latisha Kohrs, Lior Kudrjawizki, Ursela Monn, Horst Günter Marx, Thorsten Merten, Carmen-Maja Antoni, Johannes Hallervorden, Friederike Sipp and many more.

With his TV film of the same name, Hallervorden drew around eight million viewers in front of the television in 2019.
