My Hero Academia Ultra Rumble reveals gameplay and trailer

We were telling you about it last week, a Battle Royale based on the My Hero Academia license (or Boku No Hero Academia) was revealed in the Weekly Shonen Jump and last night, we were able to have new information on this title since a trailer and gameplay were released on Bandai Namco’s Japanese YouTube chair.

New gameplay for My Hero Academia Ultra Rumble

Let’s start by talking about the trailer since it already contains interesting information such as the presence of characters like Shoto Todoroki, Ochako Uraraka, Mount Lady or even Davi and Tomura Shigaraki being part of the villains. We also note that the game offers the classic system ofa Battle Royale by incorporating drops in certain places on the map, but in this title, it is not weapons that will be possible to obtain, but rather blows specific to your characters. These shots also have a limited number of uses, but it is possible to recharge them over time. They can also level up through upgrades you find on the map and other skill cards as long as it’s the same card as your skill. Note that your hero or villain will start with their skills at level 1 from the start of the game and that each attack can go up to level 9.

Apart from that, you will find classic things like the possibility of revive your teammates or the use of potions to heal you. Shield potions are also present and you can have a maximum of 250 HP and 250 shield. Of course, the shrinking area is always there to tighten you up and thus end up with a final fight.

In the gameplay, we can see the hub and its various menus such as customization, the store that will surely be used to buy virtual currency or even gacha. We don’t know what it will get, but we can imagine having cosmetics for example.

And finally, there is another information to note even if it does not concern an English version or the game with us. My Hero Academia Ultra Rumble will have a test phase in Japan from February 2 to 6. To register, you must do so on the game site from January 17 to 28. Only 10,000 players will be able to participate and this beta will take place on PS4. If you are selected, you will be contacted on January 31.

We remind you that My Hero Academia Ultra Rumble will be available on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch for free and that it is a 3 versus 3 Battle Royale with a maximum of 8 teams or 24 players per game.

Will Harry Potter Hogwarts Legacy be released sooner than expected or will it be pushed back to 2023? Difficult to disentangle the true from the false among all this contradictory information that can be seen on the networks. Let’s do a check in.
