Last week, leaks from the Weekly Shōnen Jump we learned from the announcement in its latest issue officially releasing this Monday of a new game with the publisher’s flagship superheroes, My Hero Academia: Ultra Rumble. bandai namco has thus unveiled this new project developed for PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC in recent hours, starting with a trailer presenting what awaits us in this Free-to-play battle royale 24 players simultaneously and as a team, with the opening of a official site.
As you can see, the arena will use the settings of one of the first arcs of the manga and theanime, within a training infrastructure of the Yuei High School. here, not Top 1 to be carried out, since teamwork will be required, the 24 players being divided into 3 teams 8 players, it will therefore be necessary to rely on the Quirks everyone to survive. A system of skill cards will improve these, which will be scattered across the map. And since it is My Hero Academia and that the sets are basically used to train for rescue situations during disasters, citizens will have to be saved or attacked depending on the characters incarnated.
So, for the Japanese closed beta which will take place on PS4 from February 2 to 6, 12 of them will be playable, namely Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, Ochaco Uraraka, Shoto Todoroki, Tsuyu Asui, Cementoss, All Might, Mt.Lady, Tomura Shigaraki, Dabi, Himiko Toga and Mr Compress.
And in addition to the visuals to be discovered on the following page, the publisher has distributed no less than 28 minutes of gameplay, enough to get a good idea of the project.
If you prefer more traditional fighting in the arena, My Hero One’s Justice 2 is sold €42.49 on PC per Gamesplanet and has not finished talking about him since three other playable characters are still expected.
