In Mystery Duos, the principle is to do sing twenty-four personalities in a duet with one of their relatives… without them knowing who it is! It is only halfway through the song that the mirror that has been placed between the two participants pops up, revealing who is on the other side. And for Vitaa, who recently changed her mind, the discovery was emotional, since this is her best friend, Laure Milan, who was opposite her as they sang the famous song by Lara Fabian and Maurane, You are my other. Known mainly as Loretta, the young woman is, like Vitaa, an author and composer. They also started together in the middle of the song. Thus, Loretta has notably written and composed for Amel Bent, Sheryfa Luna or even Gage. Vitaa simply gasped when she discovered her best friend by her side. Moved, the singer let her tears escape and even missed a few lyrics from the song.
"I wasn't expecting you so much!"
The duo thus ended in tears, on both sides since the famous Laure was also very touched. The reason for this commotion? The two friends had not performed together since 2008! "I'm shocked, I wasn't expecting you so much. Thank you darling, it was so good. I was not ready at all ", confessed Vitaa at the end of their performance. For the audience and for presenter Alessandra Sublet, the singer explained why they were both so moved. "She's been my friend for a very long time", she began. "We made our debut together, we have known each other for a very long time and I've been looking for a week [with whom she will sing, editor's note] and I thought of everyone except you", she continued, still in shock. Slimane's sidekick was completely upset: "I never cry in a moment like this, it never happened to me". For her, the surprise was more than successful … "You could not have done better as a choice … I was so miles away from imagining, given that we run into each other with Laure every day. That's a real surprise ", she added behind the scenes of the show.
