Monday December 5, 2022, for Europe 1, Christophe, a Johnny Hallyday fan who came with his wife and brother to Saint-Barthélemy, explained: “We arrived on Saturday after collecting our luggage. The first thing we did was go and pray at Johnny’s grave. It’s always so emotional each time you arrive on the island, it’s very important for us. (…) My big brother, Nono, always puts music on the grave, and we can gather quietly, when no one is there.” Moved, he added: “Before, we had concerts to get together. It’s true that now there is a big lack, so it’s very important for us to get back there to be close to him.“A few weeks earlier, Pascal Dufour, international secretary of the Desperados club, founded by Johnny Hallyday in 1992, had declared: “A majority of fans feel aggrieved at not being able to go to their grave in Saint-Barth. It is too far and you need a budget to go there.“
Laeticia Hallyday: “It was his choice”
