This transition to the hybrid engine is thus the major development around which the WRC Generations. Like the pilots, the players will have to adapt to this new situation. During the specials, they will have to make sure to use different engine maps in order to best manage the power of the latter. The behavior of the vehicles should thus be affected, Nacon also promising a revised and corrected physics for even more realism.
On the content side, WRC Generations will offer 49 teams from the 2022 season, 165 timed events, 750 km of specials spread over 22 countries (including a new environment of 6 specials in Sweden) and 37 legendary vehicles. Nacon also promises the possibility of sharing personalized liveries, a LEAGUES mode allowing players of the same level to be challenged or even a team creation and management mode.
After WRC Generations, the next game stamped WRC will therefore be signed Codemasters, a title already in the hands of the DiRT Rally development team and planned for next year. For his part, Nacon should leave WRC Generations on October 13 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC.
