Nadine Menz and Co .: These stars think of the start of the Oktoberfest with photos of traditional costumes

The Oktoberfest 2020 was canceled due to corona. Stars like Nadine Menz or Kai Pflaume mourn the Oktoberfest on social media.

The Oktoberfest in Munich would actually have started on Saturday (September 19th). But due to the corona pandemic, the world's largest festival was canceled. Some stars are also disappointed about the failure of this year's "O'zapft is". "It actually started yesterday," writes "GZSZ" star Nadine Menz (30) on Instagram and posts three photos that show her in a dirndl. But she is not the only prominent Oktoberfest fan who reminds of past Oktoberfest days with traditional costume photos.

Influencer Sarah Harrison (29) also published several pictures on Instagram in which she can be seen in a dirndl: one with a baby bump and one laughing on the beer bench and one in front of the ferris wheel. "It would actually start again today," commented the 29-year-old on the snapshots.

Kai Pflaume and Veronica Ferres hope for a Oktoberfest in 2021

Kai Pflaume (53) is also a regular guest at the Oktoberfest and is correspondingly disappointed about the cancellation on Instagram. "Actually we wanted to celebrate the Oktoberfest tapping today," writes the moderator. He also published a photo in which he can be seen in leather pants with a gingerbread heart. It is also the ideal Oktoberfest weather, notes Pflaume and posts the weather forecast for Munich. Over 20 degrees including sunshine is announced for the weekend. "Then we're going to celebrate even more next year, won't we?" Said Pflaume.

Actress Veronica Ferres (55) also thinks wistfully of the Oktoberfest. "Today would have been the start of the Oktoberfest! Usually a must on my calendar, this year there is only one look at my photos", wrote the German actress on Instagram and posted three pictures showing her in a dirndl. At the same time, however, Ferres also stated that she understood the cancellation. It is good "that we are not dancing on the tables this year". "We are in an unprecedented situation where we don't have to mourn our liter of beer." The beer "also tastes good next time".

Simone Ballack at the "Wirtshaus-Wiesn"

However, Munich does not completely do without the Wiesn feeling. With the "Wirtshaus-Wiesn", the city set up a small alternative. More than 50 restaurants want to spread a little Oktoberfest atmosphere by October 4th. In addition to Wiesn delicacies, there is Oktoberfest beer and beer tent music.

The Käfer-Schänke is also part of the party. "Koa Wiesn 2020 – A little something is always possible" started there on Saturday (September 19) and some stars were invited. So Simone Mecky-Ballack (44) moved to Munich. The ex-wife of the former soccer star Michael Ballack (43) and "Celebrity Big Brother" participant, however, did without a dirndl and instead appeared in a black mini dress.

The usual Corona rules apply at the "Wirtshaus-Wiesn": Keep your distance, wear a mask and visitors must leave their contact details. Swinging is allowed, but dancing on the tables is prohibited. The hosts emphasized that the guidelines are strictly adhered to.
