Nadja Auermann
This is how the top model feels with her current figure
Nadja Auermann accepts the changes in her body. “You’re over 50 – it’s okay, you can be a little fatter!”
She was one of the top models of the 90s: Nadja Auermann (53). Even today she is still in front of the camera, but sometimes with mixed feelings. “You are a bit unsettled because cameras and photos make you look bigger,” she explains in a Interview with RTL. She was “a little damaged” by the thought of “always wanting to be perfect”.
“You can be a little bit fatter”
Being considered a supermodel of the 90s is stressful because of the expectations, she explains. Many people have “a certain image in their heads that you have to live up to.” Despite this, she no longer has a problem with her body because she has understood that it changes over the years. At 53, she now thinks: “You’re over 50 – it’s okay, you can be a little fatter!”
Diversity is also extremely important. “Everyone should be who they are,” she stresses in the conversation. “It’s important to accept yourself.”
Daughter Cosima felt great pressure
Nadja Auermann’s daughter Cosima (27) also found it difficult to accept herself. The pressure of having to follow in her model mother’s footsteps was great for her. She suffered from it at the age of 18 and 19. She also put pressure on herself. However, she resisted this and found her passion in interior design. In addition to her main job, she models from time to time.
Cosima Auermann is one of the supermodel’s four children. She had Cosima in 1997 with media manager Olaf Björn Tietz (58). Nadja Auermann’s son Nicolas (25) is from her marriage to actor Wolfram Grandezka (54). The former couple married in 1999. They separated five years later. Auermann has two daughters with another partner.
