Nail polish trend in autumn 2020 | BRIGITTE.de

Nude tones on the nails just always work. This autumn, however, another color will push our beloved, delicate tones off the throne.

If there is one color family that just always looks good on the nails, it is delicate, permeable nude tones. They always make your hands look well-groomed. This fall, however, they will be pushed from the nail polish throne. May we introduce: The new neutral.

Brown is the new nude

From espresso to chocolate and cappuccino to caramel – the main thing is brown! This is the ultimate autumn color that simply accompanies each of us now. Also stars like Kim Kardashian and Kate Hudson.

Of course, you should primarily let your own taste decide which shade of brown is perfect for you. If you are unsure, you can use your jewelry as a guide. Warm brown tones (also with a shimmer) go perfectly with gold jewelery, while we would rather combine silver jewelery with cooler shades of brown. And if you can't make up your mind, simply paint each finger in a different shade of brown – that looks soooo cool! We actually know the Rainbow Nails from the summer, but it works just as well with shades of brown.

These shades of brown are trendy

Cinnamon

Cinnamon simply belongs in the cold season – and on our nails too! A warm cinnamon shade actually fits every outfit and every skin tone. It can also contain a hint of red.

mocha

A rich, dark brown can look so great – but somehow it is hardly worn. Time to change that! The dark color gives you a touch of edgy punk feeling without being gothic.

caramel

Especially for warm skin tones, caramel is a perfect choice on the nails. Combined with a matching wool sweater, the color conjures up a really rounded look.

Chocolate

All chocolate junkies also get their money's worth. A neutral shade of brown matches perfectly with almost all colors – whether red, beige, black or white.
