Naomi Watts has opened up about her love life with her new husband Billy Crudup. The actress revealed that sex gets better with age.
Actress Naomi Watts, 54, has revealed juicy details about her sex life, saying she finds intercourse more comfortable as she gets older.

At the wellness event “Unlocking Intimacy: Navigating Passion in Midlife” in New York, the “Mulholland Drive” actress revealed on Thursday, August 31, 2023, according to US magazine “People” that she and her husband Billy Crudup, 55, are still in the “honeymoon phase” three months after the wedding. Since going through menopause, sex has become even more enjoyable. “Personally, I think sex is more fun when you take out the fear of making babies,” revealed the actress, who is with her former partner Liev Schreiber, 55, has two children together.
“What kind of expression is that: closed for business, open for pleasure,” joked the 54-year-old. With increasing age one is also more self-confident: “It feels more like: ‘I’ll do it for myself.’ You’re more confident, you’ve got experience, you’re smarter, and you don’t keep thinking, ‘Oh, I’d rather turn off the light right now.'” Watts recently opened up about her premature menopause. Accordingly, she had already entered menopause at the age of 36.
Good communication is “hot”
Intimate moments with her husband come from good communication, she continued. Whatever you’re going through, being able to talk to your partner shows empathy. “And that’s hot,” Watts said. “That’s really hot when you can be honest and the conversation gets to the point where you’re like, ‘Yeah, we’re over the awkwardness, and now let’s have some fun .'”

“We had great sex that night”
Still, she and Crudup got off to a rough start because she used estrogen patches to regulate her hormones on one of the first dates. “I was wearing my patch and I was nervous that my new lover would see it,” she admitted. Before sex, she snuck into the bathroom to wipe the sticky residue from the patch off her skin. Eventually she decided to be open with her partner. “In the moment I brought honesty into the room, he knew how to act,” Watts said. “I was so embarrassed and he was 100 percent empathetic with me.I can safely say that we had some pretty great sex that night.”
