Narumol and Inka Bause Face Emotional Turmoil and Closure

With the 20th anniversary of “Farmer Wants a Wife,” Inka Bause reflects on the show’s journey, featuring a reunion special on January 16. Beloved couples like Josef and Narumol will share their stories, alongside updates on former participants. Emotional moments, including heartfelt tributes and discussions about challenges in relationships, are highlighted. The reunion celebrates love and connections formed over the years, concluding with a poignant farewell to Inka, who continues her matchmaking efforts.

With over 100 couples formed, more than 40 weddings celebrated, and nearly 50 children born, Inka Bause (56) reflects on the remarkable journey of “Farmer Wants a Wife” as it marks its 20th anniversary. The special event, titled “The Big Reunion,” is set to air on January 16 on RTL and is also available on RTL+. This celebration will bring back participants from previous seasons, including beloved couples like Bruno (62) and Anja (55), as well as Uwe (58) and Iris, who showcases a fresh new look. Longtime single Heinrich (58), a shepherd, continues to dream of a life with Inka Bause as his ideal partner.

Emotional Moments with Narumol and Inka Bause

Among the highlights will be the iconic couple, Josef and Narumol (59), who make a special appearance with their daughter Jorafina. Jorafina shares her aspirations of taking over the family farm alongside Jenny, Narumol’s daughter from her previous marriage. Narumol, expressing her emotions, once again utters her famous phrase “fick und fertig,” which, according to Inka Bause, has become so well-known that it may even be included in the Duden dictionary. She recounts her extraordinary journey from Thailand to Bavaria, celebrating her happiness on the show, while Inka Bause comforts her with a hug and a box of tissues.

The reunion also takes a nostalgic turn as Herbert (70), who married his partner in the show’s inaugural season, revisits his past. Although he experienced a whirlwind romance, the marriage ended after five years, leading him to sell his farm and adapt to life in a row house. Despite these changes, Herbert expresses that he feels “absolutely comfortable” as a former farmer living without a partner.

Behind the Scenes of Love and Relationships

Volker, a participant from season six, has undergone significant changes since his time on the show. After coming out as gay, he finds himself at the XXL barn party of the reunion, where he flirts with Michael, the show’s first bisexual farmer. Michael has become a key figure in the “Farmer Wants a Wife” community, which has thrived beyond the cameras. Former contestants frequently gather for private meetups, leading to unexpected romances, such as that of Farmer Klaus Jürgen from season 13 and Janine Christine, an unsuccessful contestant from season 18. The couple is now planning to wed, with Michael as their joint witness.

Inka Bause, ever the matchmaker, continues her efforts during the anniversary special by introducing Thorsten from season two to a contestant who had previously been rejected in the latest season.

Updates on Anna and Gerald’s Relationship

The anniversary show features not only heartfelt conversations but also montages filled with kisses, tears, marriage proposals, and even playful rabbits from the past two decades. Serious moments are also included, as tributes are paid to farmers and ladies who have passed away. Gerald and Anna Heiser (34) openly discuss their recent marriage challenges and financial struggles but reaffirm their commitment to love and support each other through thick and thin.

Andreas (74) shares a poignant story about his journey from Switzerland to Canada, having traveled the farthest to join the barn party in season 14. He found love with Inge, for whom he relocated to Germany, only to face heartbreak when she unexpectedly left him. Now, he finds himself alone in Germany, reminiscing about his life in Canada.

As the emotional celebration draws to a close, tears well up for Inka Bause as her colleagues honor her through heartfelt video clips. After such an emotional rollercoaster, viewers also find themselves embracing the sentiment of “fick und fertig,” with Narumol delivering her iconic phrase one last time.
