Naruto: Bandai Namco registers the Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections brand, towards the announcement of a new game by CyberConnect2?

Especially cult in the 2000s, the license naruto has just like his model dragonball refused to go out once the adventures of its protagonist were over, giving rise to a sequel about his son, Boruto. The manga appearing monthly in the V Jump continues, like it or not, as does its anime that abuses fillers to have something to say each week. As for video games, in addition to an appearance this year in Fortniteplayers have to settle for the tireless Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Strikerof which the Season 5 will be completed this winter. Inevitably, after so many years, the players would like something new and a return to productions as qualitative as the Ultimate Ninja Storm of CyberConnect2.

Well, everything suggests that after a few years away from the license, especially working on Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles which used the same recipe, the Japanese studio plunges back into the world of shinobis. In effect, bandai namco has filed a trademark for a video game with a more than evocative name in Europe this Monday: “Ultimate Ninja Storm CONNECTIONS” !

Rather than a simple “Storm 5”, the publisher would therefore have opted for a subtitle in line with generations and Revolutionremains to be seen whether it will be a spin off to wait for something more ambitious or if this title is just there not to put off the new generation of fans, other big licenses having in the past done the same by leaving behind their numbering. And with a term like “Connections”, we already imagine the involvement of two generations of characters, enough to cast a wide net with the public.

Let’s just hope it’s not a mobile episode, although that’s unlikely with Naruto x Boruto: Ninja Voltage always supported. Waiting, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 – Road to Boruto is sold €21.39 on Amazon.
