Accident on the set of “America’s Got Talent”: Heidi Klum suffered a wound on her leg, which she now has a scar to remember.
As is well known, model and presenter Heidi Klum (50) likes to unpack fake blood on Halloween. However, while filming a new episode of “America’s Got Talent,” the 50-year-old suffered a real wound on her left leg. “There’s blood everywhere,” said her jury colleague Howie Mandel (67) captured in a video on Instagrambefore he pans to a visibly shocked Heidi and Spice Girl member Mel B (48), who is also on the jury of the US talent show.
It is not known exactly how the painful accident happened. In the clip, Mandel only reveals that Klum “fell badly.” Tom Kaulitz’s wife (34) then explains that she is “so glad that no one saw it” – only to realize in horror: “I’ve lost half of my toenail!”
Klum shows the further course of the treatment in her Instagram story. If you get dizzy at the sight of blood, it’s better to skip the videos there: In a close-up, the model first shows how the deep cut is apparently being cleaned quite painfully by a doctor: “Are you kidding me, it burns like hell!” she says as the disinfectant is applied.
A scar will remain
Instead of stitching the wound, it is simply taped up. “We’re doing this so that there’s no scar left behind, right?” Klum wants to know from the doctor. However, he immediately robs her of this hope: “Well, you’ll have a scar.”
A few hours after this sobering news and with her leg now bandaged, Klum at least made it to bed in her current story. Off camera, her husband Tom can be heard sleepily talking to her.
With a bit of luck, Klum might be able to use the wound as a particularly realistic accessory for her upcoming Halloween costume. As is well known, the model always puts in extra work and keeps the disguise a secret until shortly before her star-studded party.
