Natalia Wörner has started shooting the ZDF corona drama "The world stands still". She will be in front of the camera until March.

The actress Natalia Wörner (53, "Under other circumstances") is currently in front of the camera for the ZDF production "The world is still". As the broadcaster announced, filming has been going on since Thursday, February 25, 2021 in Konstanz on Lake Constance and the surrounding area. In the drama, Wörner plays the senior physician Dr. Carolin Mellau, who herself suffered from Covid-19 at the beginning of the corona crisis. Other roles include Marcus Mittermeier (51) and Nikolai Kinski (44). The director is Anno Saul (57), the script was written by Dorothee Schön (59).

"I have great respect for this film, its topicality and its lifelike and touching characters," says Wörner. You go into the shooting with the feeling that you want to dedicate this film to the people who work in nursing professions, all doctors and those "who deal with the virus every day". The shooting is expected to last until March 26, 2021, a broadcast date has not yet been set.
