Natalie Portman is coming to Munich: The versatile actress will be speaking about sustainable mobility at the IAA.
The socially versatile actress will speak about sustainable mobility in Munich. “For the transition to sustainable mobility to succeed, sustainable mobility solutions must be affordable and accessible for everyone,” quotes Natalie Portman from the IAA. “I look forward to discussing the possibilities of achieving this at IAA Mobility”.
“Natalie Portman is an authentic personality who, in addition to her international film career, has been successfully committed to socio-political issues for years,” explains Hildegard Müller (56), President of the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA).
IAA: Speakers from all areas of society should inspire
In recent years, speakers from politics and business in particular have appeared at the IAA. This year the traditional event wants to open. Speakers from other areas of society should “throw an additional and inspiring look at the challenges and solution approaches of the mobility industry and share their own points of view”, as the organizers say. This should also “enable people to participate in the mobility debate who would otherwise probably be left out.”
Natalie Portman became a star at the age of 12 with “Leon: The Pro”. Parallel to her film career, she studied psychology at Harvard University. Born in Israel, she has been a vegetarian since childhood and has been vegan since 2009.
As a speaker, Natalie Portman has appeared on a variety of topics. In 2006 she spoke about terrorism at Columbia University. In 2017, the Oscar winner gave a speech at the Women’s March in Los Angeles.
The IAA Mobility takes place from September 5th to 8th at the Munich exhibition center.
