Portman appeared several times without her wedding ring, even when she made an appearance on her 11th wedding anniversary, she went without the piece of jewelry. Benjamin Millepied is said to have cheated on Portman, leaving her feeling “powerless”. In her new interview, the 42-year-old is also asked about the headlines surrounding her relationship. “How does that make you feel?” asks Vanity Fair journalist Keziah Weir. Natalie Portman opts for a curt answer and makes it clear: “It’s terrible and I have no desire to contribute to it.” Weir then admits that she was reluctant to ask. “I can imagine that,” Portman replies.

The actress does not explain whether she and Millepied are still together or already separated. Portman lives in Los Angeles and Paris, and when asked about it, she raves about friends she has in both cities. “Paris is of course just a dream. I’m so lucky to live here and have an extremely stimulating city life with incredible friends,” emphasizes Portman. The actress doesn’t say a word about her husband.
