To put herself in the new skin of her character in Thor 4, Natalie Portman had to redouble her efforts to transform herself physically.
Starting Wednesday, July 13, Marvel fans will be able to experience the fourth part of the saga Thorin which appears Natalie Portman who will lend her features to Jane Foster, who is now a superheroine.
No sparing for Natalie Portman for the preparation for this role of superhuman. In an interview given to TV 7 daysthe famous actress married to a Frenchman, spoke of the sports sessions she had to go through: “Usually, actresses go to the gym to stay lean and toned, but here, I had to work ten months to change my build and build musclewith the help of my trainer and the stuntmen”she said.
In the columns of the magazine, Natalie Portman admitted that this incredible metamorphosis did not take place in cries and tears: “I loved learning to fight”, she recalled. It seems like the Mjolnir, the famous hammer of Thor which she inheritedwould have had a central role in his training: “It was awesome! The way I moved, holding it, changed my whole body language. The choreography of my fights was designed around the handling of the hammer”she explained.

Natalie Portman also developed the story of Jane Foster, a character who has gained autonomy, and who is reborn in a new light in Thor 4 : “Before, Jane was a brave scientist, whom Thor had to save in case of danger. Now she is on her own. When she fights alongside him, they make a formidable team.”she analyzed.
This role, Natalie Portman loves it, and her children too. The actress with a great career has earned many “coolness” points with her children thanks to Jane Foster: “What excited them, above all, was to see me play against the alien Kong, their favorite Marvel character ! It was he who allowed me to earn points with my offspring”she confided.
