Natascha Ochsenknecht (55) regularly keeps her 190,000 followers on Instagram up to date. Funny sayings and self-ironic snapshots are not uncommon on their side. But her latest post falls out of the grid. Not only do the two nude photos catch the eye, the message that the mother of three children sends with them is also haunting.
"We are born naked and the most beautiful is the first heartbeat. When we die, the most sad is the last heartbeat," says Ochsenknecht. Why is she publishing this post right now? "I thought before I was too old to show myself like this I would post these photos today." One shows "just before Corona", the other in the fifth month pregnant with Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht (28) and Wilson Gonzalez Ochsenknecht (30) in her arms. "Suddenly they are big," writes the ex-wife of actor Uwe Ochsenknecht (64, "Das Boot").
"We are all the same naked"
"It is at this time that it is becoming clear that health is the most important thing in life," continues Ochsenknecht. Just like "family and good friends". "Greed, disrespect, lack of empathy and narcissism" have no place in times like these. "Smiling at someone in Corona times connects more than ever," says the 55-year-old instead. You take care of previously unknown neighbors, hold conversations from the balcony and do shopping for strangers who "become friends".
Her appeal is clear: "It is a time that may actually shake some people up, to be more human again and less asshole. So what does it show us: we are all the same naked and whoever smiles gets one back."
