The show had barely started when the controversy broke out. On February 16, Dance with the stars was back for a thirteenth season after a year and a half of absence. The cast included Keiona, Nico Capone, Diane Leyre, Roman Doduik and Black M. If everything had started well, with a first prime that met the public’s expectations, the scandal quickly took over with Natasha St-Pier and Inès Reg at its heart. Finally, after ten weeks of extreme tension, and while the clash between the two women had taken precedence over the competition, it was the Quebec singer who was crowned the big winner of season 13. Since then, apart from a few interviews at the end of the finale, the comedian and the singer have remained relatively silent. And Natasha St-Pier intends to keep it that way.
On the occasion of his participation in Fort Boyard On July 6, she gave an interview to our colleagues at Tele-Leisure. In their columns, she said she no longer wanted to talk about this affair, she had turned the page. Thus, when asked if she regretted that this whole affair had taken on such magnitude, she replied: “Of course I would have preferred things to happen differently. After all, you can’t do things again, they were done that way,” before adding: “I don’t dwell on the subject, I don’t comment on it any more. And what probably had to happen happened.”For her part, Inès Reg admitted to regretting some of her actions.
Inès Reg returns to her clash with Natasha St-Pier: “I screwed up”
Currently starring in Les Infaillibles on Prime Video alongside her ex-husband Kevin Debonne, Inès Reg gave an interview to Liik TV, broadcast on TikTok, where she returned to her clash with Natasha St-Pier in Danse avec les stars. Two months after the end of the show, the comedian confessed “to have screwed up”. “I think if I had never spoken about it, it would have slipped,” she confided, adding: “From the moment I talk about it, I make it a subject. […] That’s my mistake.” This surprising admission, however, shows that the comedian has managed to take a step back from the situation and measure the consequences that this controversy could have had. “I think that I contributed to my bad buzz. Frankly, I could have done without it,” she concluded.
