Not a minute passes without Nathalie Marquay thinking of her late husband Jean-Pierre Pernaut. Indeed, since the death of the former presenter JT, the widow continues to pay tribute to him. The proof is, on Saturday February 18, 2023, she sent him a meaningful message. In Instagram story, Nathalie Marquay has indeed mentioned their reunion. Currently on vacation in a paradise destination, the mother of the family shared a video in which she wrote: “On my paradise without you, one day we will have the same paradise again, I promise you”. As a reminder, it was on Wednesday March 2, 2022 that Jean-Pierre Pernaut died. The journalist died at the age of 71 from lung cancer. His disappearance had the effect of a bomb in the media sphere but above all left a great void for his wife Nathalie Marquay and their two children, Lou and Tom Pernaut. Each in their own way mourn a father who was more than loving and who will be missed forever.

She had notably admitted that what she missed the most was the voice and the arms of her Jean-Pierre Pernaut. On the other hand, she blamed herself for not having told him everything. “I have the impression of having forgotten to say a lot of things to Jean-Pierre. I have a lot of words that come to me for him and I say to myself: ‘Damn, I couldn’t tell him, damn ‘. And that’s why you have to take advantage of it and you have to dare to say things”. she confided.

To hold on since the death of Jean-Pierre Pernaut, Nathalie Marquay can obviously count on the support of those close to her. She also took refuge in work, between the publication of her book Me, I believe in it, my angels, my guides, my premonitions, his new play entitled The joker unclesand the creation of his own clothing brand which should see the light of day in 2023.
