Nathalie Marquay touched by a beautiful tribute to Jean-Pierre Pernaut

On March 2, 2022, France learned of the death of the great presenter Jean-Pierre Pernaut. The famous journalist is died at the age of 71, he was suffering from inoperable lung cancer. Famous for his outspokenness, he conquered the French with his singular style and forever marked the French audiovisual landscape. The day of his death, his wife, Nathalie Marquay had shared a photo of a black frame to announce the death of her husband. A post that aroused a wave of emotion the father of Tom, Lou, Olivier and Julien was so loved.

Four months after his disappearance, the tributes continue to follow one another. This Wednesday July 6, Nathalie Marquay shared a beautiful tribute from the fairgrounds of Amiens on his Instagram account. “Thank you to the showmen so dear to the heart of Jean-Pierre for this magnificent tribute at each entry to the Foire de la Saint-Jean, in Amiens” can we read in the caption of his post. On the photo, we discover a banner of the fair with writing on it “Fair of Saint-Jean Amiens. This edition is dedicated to Jean-Pierre Pernaut”. As a reminder, the famous journalist is born and raised in this city in the north of France.

Nathalie Marquay: a difficult mourning

Since the death of her husband, the former beauty queen struggling to mourn. On social networks, she often shares memories of her life with Jean-Pierre Pernaut. Like the time she posted a photo of their favorite restaurant while writing “Our favorite restaurant my love. I miss you.”. A moving message which shows that Nathalie Marquay is struggling to move forward. The one who believes hard as iron in mystical manifestations seems moreover convinced that she has signs of her late husband. On June 23, she revealed to the Parisian the new sign that she would have received from the one nicknamed JPP. “I don’t know why, I was drawn to a book. I open it: there were 600 euros in cash. I hallucinated. I was talking about money for studies, it’s a small sign” says the former Miss France. For her it is obvious, Jean-Pierre Pernaut is always by his side. The journalist would also appear with his children. Especially Lou, who heard a man say “I am proud of you my daughter” while she was watching TV. “He is irreplaceable. He was such an extraordinary, generous, considerate man. He was always listening, for me and the children” confided Nathalie Marquay who did not close to turning the page.
