Nathalie Volk starts a new life after separating from Timur Akbulut in the USA, but this has indirectly to do with her ex Frank Otto. He also supports them financially there. However, the budding actress does not seem to like the fact that the entrepreneur has now publicly divulged details from Nathalie’s private life.
After the headline-grabbing days, Nathalie Volk, 24, has withdrawn to calm down again. The former GNTM candidate confirmed the separation from Timur Akbulut to GALA at the end of October.
Since then, everything has gone haywire with Nathalie. She had to be hospitalized for heart problems, but was discharged quickly. In her new home she was harassed by paparazzi and literally showered with press inquiries. No wonder that Nathalie needs time for herself first and holds back with further statements.

Instead, her ex Frank Otto, 64, speaks up, who has heard from Nathalie personally that the engagement to Timur has broken off. “She called me so I wouldn’t find out from the press,” the entrepreneur told Bild at the sports press ball in Frankfurt and added: “It’s a sign of confidence that she tells me that their relationship has ended.”
He also confirms the rumors about financing his ex. Otto had already mentioned that he would continue to financially support Nathalie’s acting training in the USA, because that was what was agreed at the time. So it’s not surprising that the 24-year-old now also lives in his New York apartment. “Yes, that’s right. That was clear because she’s finishing her acting training.” Nathalie herself sees it differently, however: After her ex reported in the press, she presented her view of things a little later on Instagram.

“Frank gave me this property in 2016 and I have been living in it for 5 years [sic]”, so Volk and is disappointed by the frank words of her ex.” I think it’s a shame that Franks has to share something like that in public and I hope that we can keep private things private in the future [sic]”, she adds to her Instagram story.
Acting career in New York
Nathalie, who appears under the stage name Miranda DiGrande, told GALA that she finally wanted to focus on her acting career again in New York. This has clearly faded into the background during her time in Turkey.
