Ex- “GNTM” candidate Nathalie Volk got engaged a few days ago. Now the two have given a first joint interview.
Nathalie Volk (24) has at the beginning of September her engagement to Timur Akbulut (43) announced. Now the couple has gave the broadcaster RTL a first joint interview. “Today I have the love that I didn’t have before,” says Volk, who now calls herself Miranda DiGrande, in the conversation. “I missed love and warmth very much.”
Nathalie Volk now lives in Turkey with her fiancé Timur, a “Hell’s Angels” rocker who was imprisoned for manslaughter. She can also imagine a family with him, as she explains in an interview that she absolutely wants to have children. As for his past, he was honest with her from the start: “Of course I told her directly,” said Akbulut.

Outwardly, Nathalie Volk has also changed a lot. She now wears her hair dyed deep black, is more strikingly made up and, like her fiancé, wears a few tattoos. In her previous relationship with entrepreneur Frank Otto (64), she was often “under pressure” and “adapted” to her 40-year-old partner, describes Volk. “I gave up what I wanted myself and now I put on more clothes that I also feel comfortable in. I didn’t think that was age appropriate. I was in my early twenties and sometimes looked like a grandma.”
It seems to be different with her new partner. “I love his heart, his soul, his character, his appearance, his tattoos,” enthuses Nathalie Volk. “For me Timur is a real man, I didn’t know any kind of man before and that’s exactly what attracts me about him.”
