Navya completes its partnerships. The one that has just been set up with Michelin should make it possible to develop new connected tire solutions including data management.

The autonomous driving systems supplier Navya has just concluded an agreement with the tire manufacturer Michelin and the automated mobility operator Beti, specializing in rural or tourist areas. This agreement was made as part of the Movin’ On Think & Do Tank, with the aim of facilitating the advancement of pneumatic and non-pneumatic solutions developed by Michelin.
These will be used in Navya’s autonomous shuttles, which will themselves be deployed in rural areas thanks to the operator Beti. Created and inspired by Michelin, the Think & Do Tank Movin’ On is the first global ecosystem of strategic anticipation and co-innovation for sustainable mobility. More than 300 public and private actors, who bring together groups and individuals, unite around a vision of mobility as essential to human development. Movin’ On wants to include this mobility in a sustainable framework, that is to say safer, connected, clean, accessible and above all, efficient.
Navya and Beti, both specialized in autonomous mobility, have already had the opportunity to join forces with Val de Drôme or Val Thorens and will therefore continue their cooperation on these new projects.
The Tripartite Cooperation Agreement is described as covering ” all issues related to the ground connection, with the objective of co-developing connected airless solutions including data management “. More generally, the three companies consider that this would make it possible to develop a strong and essential value chain for the rise of the shared autonomous mobility sector.
