Despite separation “forever connected”
Life has presented too many challenges for Nazan Eckes and her husband Julian Khol, as she explains.

Nazan Eckes has commented on the separation from her husband Julian Khol. The two are “separate and yet together”.
Nazan Eckes (46) and her husband Julian Khol (42) have split up, but the moderator explains on Instagram that they want to go “hand in hand through life” with their children. In a longer article, Eckes also makes it clearthat both are happy anyway.

Eckes and Khol had “the same dream” as many other people: “In love, engaged, married, house, child… We had a wonderful and crazy time together. But then life had many challenges in store for us, too many … and we accepted every single one.” They “fought their way through the storm” and can still “look into each other’s eyes lovingly and respectfully. It may sound crazy, but we are happier than ever.”
“As a family, we continue to walk hand in hand through life and we are very proud and glad that we made it,” says Eckes. They are “separate and yet together. Individuals and yet a unit. Connected forever and ever and soulmates and yet everyone is going their own way right now.” Meanwhile, their two children are not just “two happy, strong, clever boys”, but for Eckes and Khol they are also “one and all”.
According to the article, Eckes no longer wants to comment on the matter. Belgin Üngör, the sister and manager of the 46-year-old had previously confirmed to the “Bild” newspaper: “Yes, it’s right, Nazan and Julian are no longer a couple. As parents, they share the upbringing of their sons.” TV star Eckes and the Austrian artist Julian Khol got married in 2012. Their sons were born in 2014 and 2016.
