NCIS: good news for fans of the series!

Good news for NCIS fans! The detective series carried by Gary Cole has just been renewed for a season 21 which will arrive at the start of the school year on CBS. And it’s not the only series in the franchise to be entitled to a new burst of episodes.

And 21! NCIS, CBS’s flagship detective series has just been renewed for a twenty-first season which will arrive next September on American antennas. Despite the departure of Mark Harmon, who said goodbye to the series during season 19, NCIS remains a strong brand of the channel, remaining one of the most watched dramas on the network.

It is therefore not a surprise that CBS has decided to offer a new burst of episodes to the series now worn by Gary Cole (Desperate Housewives), who plays the ex-FBI agent Alden Parker, appointed supervisor of the ‘crew.

For the moment, Sean Murray (McGee), Katrina Law (Jessica Knight), Diona Reasonover (Kasie) and Wilmer Valderrama (Nicholas Torres), have not yet confirmed their presence in these new episodes but nothing suggests that they won’t be back.

Other good news for fans of the franchise: NCIS: Hawaii, the latest spin-off of the detective series worn by Vanessa Lachey, will be entitled to a season 3. As for NCIS: Los Angeles, CBS announced last January its cancellation , after 14 seasons and 322 episodes. The season 14 finale, which will be broadcast on May 14 in the United States, will therefore be the last of the series with Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J.

The channel also took the opportunity to announce that CSI: Vegas, the sequel to Experts, would be back for a season 3.

These three series join the long list of fiction already renewed by CBS, which includes Fire Country, The Equalizer, FBI, FBI: International, FBI: Most Wanted, Young Sheldon, Ghosts, The Neighborhood, Bob Hearts Abishola and So Help Me Todd.

Season 1 of NCIS Hawaii is currently broadcast every Saturday evening from 9:10 p.m. on M6. As for season 20 of NCIS, it does not yet have a French broadcast date, but should arrive soon on the 6.
