With 21 seasons currently under its belt, and various spin-offs which are also very successful, NCIS is a true monument of the small screen. And after so much time on the air, the series welcomed, in addition to its regular cast, numerous guests from other successful shows or films like Josh Holloway and Terry O’Quinn from Lost, Kerr Smith (Dawson) , Zac Efron (High School Musical) and Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine) – to name a few.
In 2014, as FilmStarts recalls, it was the turn of Millie Bobby Brownthen aged 10, to make an appearance in the series with an important role in episode 6 of season 12. Nobody could then have imagined that two years later, the actress would become the star of the one of the biggest phenomenon series of the last decade!
BEFORE ELEVEN, THERE WAS RACHEL BARNES
Spoiler alert! The following paragraph reveals the plot and outcome of episode 6 of season 12 of NCIS.
In the episode, Millie Bobby Brown interprets Rachel Barnes who we discover discussing Harry Potter with her friends as she is interrupted by the discovery of her mother’s body lying on the floor in their kitchen. We find out later: Rachel is the murderer and did this because she felt neglected. Even if she seems almost innocent at the beginning, by the end of the episode, it is clear that the little girl knows exactly what she is doing and is especially very calculating in her conversations with Gibbs (Mark Harmon).

Thanks to this role, and his extraordinary and impressive performance for his age, Millie Bobby Brownwho is now 19 years old, was able to prove herself as an actress at the time before finally breaking through with Stranger Things.
