At the beginning of NCIS, Ziva and Tony were the dream couple of the series. However, at the end of Season 10, Cote de Pablo left the series and in Season 13 her character seemingly died – a way to also write Michael Weatherly’s character from the series.
Before her supposed death, Ziva gave birth to their daughter Tali, who Tony now had to look after as a single father. Ziva returned alive in seasons 16 and 17, and since then things have been quiet about “Tiva” – until now!

Paramount+ has officially ordered a NCIS spin-off starring Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo. After the series finale of “Bull” in 2022, Weatherly’s schedule is free for this project, which has long been close to his and de Pablo’s hearts, as they explain in a joint statement.
We’ve been talking about this story for many years, and now, with [Showrunner] With John McNamara at the helm, we’re ready. The world of Tony and Ziva (and daughter Tali) promises to be an action-packed roller coaster ride full of love, danger, tears and laughter. We would also like to thank the fans from all over the world who have supported the TIVA movement for years. To this day, they greet us at the grocery store and on the street to tell us how much these characters mean to them and to ask us what Tony and Ziva are up to now. This is for you!

The official description for the as-yet-unnamed series reads: “Tony and Ziva have raised their daughter Tali together. When Tony’s security company is attacked, they must flee across Europe to find out who is after them and maybe even learn about each other to trust again so that they can finally experience their unconventional happy ending”.
It is not yet known whether the Tiva series can start at the end of 2024 or next year. “NCIS” fans can also look forward to a prequel series that will shed light on Gibbs’ younger years.
