Season 21 of “NCIS” will soon come to an end in the United States, with a finale which could prove fatal for one of the characters in the detective series.
Will NCIS agents soon have to face a new tragedy? In any case, this is what Rocky Carroll, the interpreter of Leon Vance, suggested in an interview. He actually suggested that one of the team members could die in the season 21 finale.
Will a character die?
CBS will broadcast the final episode of season 21 of NCIS on May 6, entitled “Reef Madness” (“Reef madness” in French). According to the official synopsis, Parker (Gary Cole) and Knight (Katrina Law) discover three dead bodies aboard an old navy ship that is about to be sunk to become an artificial reef.
Unfortunately, a mysterious individual locks them inside the future wreck. Will they manage to escape in time? In an interview given to our colleagues at TV InsiderRocky Carroll was not very reassuring about the future of one of the characters.
“Beyond the global threat at the heart of this episode, one of the protagonists of the series will… Things are not going to go as planned and we are not entirely sure of the fate reserved for one of our characters. Once again, the team will have to regroup and come together.”
He also added that the season-ending cliffhanger would be a “blend” between the fate of a character left in suspense, and another element which will prepare for season 22.
“Jimmy and Knight have a beautiful love story, but the latter’s father has arrived and he has a very specific plan for his daughter’s future,” explained the actor. “I think Jimmy and Knight are going to have to reconcile and make some very difficult decisions about their future.“. To be continued…
Season 21 of NCIS soon on M6
Good news for French fans of NCIS! They will not have much time to wait before discovering the 10 new episodes of season 21. M6 will in fact broadcast from Saturday May 11 this new burst of episodes, which promises to be rich in emotions.
Episode 2 will thus be the scene of the team’s farewell to Dr. Donald “Ducky” Mallard, the forensic doctor of the criminal investigation service of the American navy, his interpreter, David McCallum, having passed away last September in the age of 90.
On this occasion, Michael Weatherly will reprise his role as Tony Dinozzo for a cameo to salute the disappearance of his friend.
