The next series derived from the “NCIS” universe is revealed! While a prequel to the adventures of Gibbs is in preparation, two former characters from the original franchise are preparing to join the special agent in the 1990s.
The prequel on the origins of Gibbs, the main character of NCIS to whom Mark Harmon lent his features, is coming into focus. The protagonist will not in fact be the only hero of the franchise to see his past explored in this future spin-off series! As revealed by the specialized American media TV Line, the agent will have at least two allies that we already know at his side…

As previously revealed, NCIS: Origins will go back in time to 1991, when young Gibbs joined the famous team. With this leap back, viewers will better understand how and why he became the man we discovered in NCIS.
Gibbs 1990s version will therefore begin before our eyes his career as a special agent in the newly created NCIS office. He will then try to find his place within this gang with very different members from each other, led by the legend of the organization Mike Franks.
