Near the train station – shoplifter hit detective

A suspected shoplifter from Germany was caught by two detectives at the train station in Salzburg on Friday. The 51-year-old then threatened the detectives with violence – and then even struck them. He was prevented from escaping and was handed over to the police.

He then tried to flee, but was prevented by the detectives. They handed the thief over to the police, who arrested the man and transferred him to the Puch-Urstein prison.
