Ned Eisenberg is dead. The “Law & Order” star died in New York on Sunday. He had been suffering from two cancers for two years.

US actor Ned Eisenberg is dead. He died of cancer at his home in New York on Sunday. This was confirmed by his spokesman for “People” magazine. The “Law & Order” star suffered from two types of cancer: gallbladder carcinoma and ocular melanoma. His wife Patricia’s statement said her husband “fought bravely against both of his cancer diagnoses.”

He was attacked by “two very rare assassins” and still continued to work in show business for two years. Eisenberg wanted to ensure “that his health insurance for him and his family” would remain in place. In addition to his wife, Eisenberg also leaves behind their son Lino.

Best known role of Ned Eisenberg in “Law & Order”

Born in New York, he had his first leading role in the film “Key Exchange” in 1985. During the further course of his career he made a name for himself on Broadway and starred in numerous series such as “The Equalizer”, “Mare of Eastown”, “Blacklist ” or “Miami Vice” with. His best-known role since 1997 was that of criminal defense attorney Roger Kressler on the NBC series Law & Order.
