The Buds A are in-ear headphones that have good support in the ear, thanks to their flat and compact shape. They do not protrude from the ears and are quickly forgotten once in place. The box that accompanies them is small, oval in shape and easily fits in a pocket. The headphones are simple to pair via Bluetooth and easy to use. The tactile surface of the earbuds allows you to change tracks or manage your music or your calls. Unfortunately, the touch controls don’t offer the ability to control the volume.

This is a great deal if you’re looking for a simple and affordable pair of headphones. The 12 mm transducers present in the headphones offer sufficient sound quality to enjoy your music. The bass is very present and does not take up all the space. The mids are in their proper place and the highs don’t sound out of place. If, however, you are not convinced by the default settings, the Pixel Buds app allows you to modify the audio and adapt it to your preferences. Do not expect in-depth modifications, but just enough to overcome the small sound weaknesses.
Google headphones do not have active noise reduction, but the “adaptive sound” option allows you to adjust the sound level of your music in relation to the ambient level. Finally, the promised autonomy is 5 hours with a single charge and almost a whole day with the charging case. The latter is charged via USB-C.
