Report: Nagelsmann and PSG do not find each other

Julian Nagelsmann has been associated with several top clubs abroad since he was sacked at Bayern. According to “L’Equipe”, Nagelsmann will at least not be a coach for the Parisian team around superstar Kylian Mbappé.
According to information from the specialist magazine “L’Equipe”, Julian Nagelsmann will not coach Paris Saint-Germain after all. The negotiations between the former coach of FC Bayern Munich and the French soccer champions failed, according to the newspaper on Friday evening. The two parties have decided to forego a possible cooperation, it said. Most recently, the 35-year-old Nagelsmann was traded as a favorite for the coaching position at PSG.
According to French media, the club has already separated from the previous head coach Christophe Galtier. For the 56-year-old, that would be the end of it after just one year. Although Galtier won the eleventh French football championship with PSG by one point ahead of RC Lens. But the star ensemble from the Seine failed once again early in the Champions League. That was the last 16 against FC Bayern, who were still coached by Nagelsmann at the time.
Nagelsmann surprisingly lost his job with Munich in March. Before joining Munich, he was head coach at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and RB Leipzig. After being sacked at Bayern, he has been linked with several top clubs abroad such as Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid.
If the deal with Paris Saint-Germain had worked, a little coach roulette would have been perfect. Then the 35-year-old Nagelsmann would have ended up at the club where the current Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel was head coach from 2018 to 2020. Nagelsmann’s future is still in the stars for the time being.
