Neighbors threatened – Innviertler hoarded illegal weapons storage

Constant threats against the neighbors in Schardenberg exposed an illegal arms depot. A 42-year-old had 28 firearms and ammunition, as well as knives, swords, throwing stars and blackjacks at home!

It was enough for a couple from Schardenberg. It went to the local police because it had been threatened several times by its 42-year-old neighbor. Accordingly, between May 2020 and the end of October 2021, the threats were made at regular intervals (about three to four times a month), whereby the accused is said to have verbally threatened the 33-year-old woman and the 40-year-old man with killing there had also been incidents in which the man handled a butterfly knife or showed a handgun. Not confessing When the suspicion was confirmed, the Ried public prosecutor ordered a house search. Eight rifles and 20 pistols and revolvers that the man illegally owned were secured. The investigators also found swords, knives and a number of prohibited weapons and drugs. When he was questioned, the 42-year-old did not confess. He is reported at large. An entry and approach ban as well as a provisional ban on weapons were issued against him.
