Neil Patrick Harris has made a sweet declaration of love for his husband David Burtka. The two had their first date 18 years ago.
Actor Neil Patrick Harris (48) has been happily married to his husband David Burtka (46) since 2014. The two had their first date 18 years ago. The “How I Met Your Mother” star revealed this in an Instagram post. Harris wrote about a romantic couple photo: “Today was our first date 18 years ago. And David Burtka, I won’t let you go anymore.”
He also wished his husband “happy anniversary” and made a sweet declaration of love to Burtka: “Thank you for showing me how big my heart can be. I love you so much.” In the picture, the two men look into each other’s eyes in love and hug.

Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka met in 2004. In 2010, the two became parents to twins Harper and Gideon, who were carried to a surrogate mother. The wedding followed in Italy in 2014. Burtka is also an actor, but he is also the chef of his own restaurant.
