Neil Young: With a song, he protests against Trump

After arguments over the unauthorized use of his music by Donald Trump, Neil Young published a song against him.

Rock musician Neil Young (74) rewrote the song "Lookin 'For A Leader", making it a song against US President Donald Trump (74). The lyrics to "Lookin 'For A Leader 2020" say, among other things, that the United States currently needs a political leader like Barack Obama (58) – and not a president who is building walls.

Young also supports the "Black Lives Matter" movement in the new version of the song and calls on Trump to vote out of the White House: "He don't know black lives matter / And we got to vote him out . " Trump is "afraid of his own shadow" and prefers to hide "in his bunker".

Trump "a shame"

Young had repeatedly spoken out against Trump's use of his music. To a clip, who shows that his song "Rockin 'in the Free World" was recently played before a Trump speech, the musician on Twitter clearly commented: "This is not okay for me". Young had already gotten into trouble with Trump in 2015 because he took the stage on the song when he announced that he wanted to run for the US presidency. In an open letter, Young described the president in March as "shame on my country."
