When it comes to successful market launches of new smartphones, the names of models from Apple, Samsung or Xiaomi usually come up. But a model from another manufacturer is currently causing a stir. According to Gizmochina, the Nubia brand in China sold copies of the new Z60 Ultra worth the equivalent of 127 million euros in just 1 second.

The good price-performance ratio is probably responsible for its success. The Z60 Ultra is one of the first smartphones with Qualcomm’s new high-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. Nevertheless, the cheapest version in China only costs 509 euros when it launches on the market. That’s how much the new Xiaomi 14 costs in the Middle Kingdom.
