(CercleFinance.com) – Neoen announces that it has finalized the financing of a diversified portfolio of renewable energy assets representing a total of 1.5 GW, for a total amount raised exceeding 1.1 billion Australian dollars, with maturities five and seven years old.
This portfolio consists of seven solar and wind farms in operation in the states of South Australia, New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria, and Collie Battery Stage 1, currently under construction in Western Australia.
The financing, one of the largest for a portfolio of renewable assets in Australia, is provided by a group of eleven Australian and international lenders, including ING and Société Générale.
