Neoen: Some profit taking after the quarterly turnover

(CercleFinance.com) – Neoen shares fell on the Paris Stock Exchange on Wednesday, penalized by some profit taking as the renewable energy producer unveiled quarterly sales up 36% and confirmed its annual targets .

Around 3:30 p.m., the stock fell 0.3%, a performance broadly in line with that of the SBF 120 index, which fell 0.3% at the same time. The title is still up 25% over the last three months.

The group published last night an unaudited turnover of 109.1 million euros for the first quarter of 2022, against 80.2 million in the first quarter of 2021. At constant exchange rates, it increased by 33%.

Neoen – which had an operational capacity of 3.5 GW at the end of March against 2.6 GW a year ago – said it produced 1.5 TWh of green electricity during the quarter.

The company specifies that this performance was driven by strong revenue growth from each of its three activities: solar, wind and storage.

The independent producer has also confirmed its 2022 Ebitda target of between 360 and 375 million euros, corresponding to a margin of between 85% and 90%.

It also reiterated its objective of more than 10 GW of capacity in operation or under construction by the end of 2025.
