As we know, video games can give rise to amazing derivative products. This time, Bungie has clearly outdone itself with a pretty awesome prop taken from destiny.
It is an object that is undoubtedly already very collector’s item that the American studio presents to us this week.
A mythical weapon that comes to life
All players of the multiplayer FPS imagined by the creators of Halo know the Gjallarhorn. Introduced from the first destiny, this rocket launcher has almost become a symbol of the franchise. It is an absolutely legendary weapon that has formidable firepower and one of the most successful aesthetics. In short, all collectors dream of having one at home… And this dream is on the way to becoming a reality!
Indeed, Bungie has just joined forces with Nerf, an American brand of toys that produces blasters capable of propelling darts or even balls. The company is particularly famous for its replica weapons inspired by Fortnite. But today is destiny which is in the spotlight with this dear Gjallarhorn reproduced in a scale of 1: 1.
An equally impressive price!
As you can see from the visuals unveiled this week, the Gjallarhorn is absolutely stunning. Of course, it doesn’t fire actual rockets (no kidding!) but shells that will split into three MEGA darts after you pull the trigger. A total of three shells (for nine arrows) will be provided directly in the pack. At present, no demonstration of the mechanism has been made.
But in what way the lovers of destiny will they be able to obtain this sumptuous Gjallarhorn? Be careful, because it will not necessarily be easy. First, players will need to sign up for the Bungie Rewards program and complete the 30 Pack quest.e Bungie birthday for Destiny 2 (which must therefore be purchased in advance). All before July 7, 2022, that is to say the date chosen for the opening of pre-orders. The purchase will then have to be made directly from the Bungie Store.
