Nestl announces the nomination of Luca Maestri, chief financial officer at Apple, and that of Chris Leong, chief marketing officer at Schneider Electric, the election of its board of directors, during the ordinary AGM to be held on April 7 .
Ann M Veneman will leave the board after 11 years of collaboration and Kasper Rorsted has decided not to stand for re-election. The Board will propose the re-election of the Chairman and each of its other current members.
With these proposed candidates, the board will consist of 14 members, 12 of whom are independent. The continuous renewal of the Board helps to maintain the complementarity of expertise and experience in the various areas relevant to Nestl.
