Netfix and Co .: Among other things, "Stranger Things" cannot be shot

The corona virus no longer only has a massive impact on theatrical releases. The shooting of numerous series productions has to be paused in the meantime. This also applies to the streaming provider Netflix, where reports say that work in the USA and Canada has been put on hold for at least two weeks. Accordingly, the fourth season of the mystery series "Stranger Things", which has so far been in production, is also affected.

Disney + has also paused a lot of active filming. The series "See", "Servant", "For All Mankind" and "Mythic Quest", "The Falcon And The Winter Soldier" stopped filming in Prague. The filming of the second season of "The Morning Show" with Jennifer Aniston (51) and Reese Witherspoon (43), which is produced via Apple's streaming service, has also been suspended for the time being. The same game applies to Amazon Prime for the series "Carnival Row" with Orlando Bloom (43).

At FX the work on the fourth season of "Fargo" and "Snowfall" is interrupted, at The CW it has currently caught "The 100", "Batwoman", "Dynasty", "The Flash" and "Supergirl" The stars of "Grey's Anatomy" are also on compulsory vacation for at least three weeks, according to the "LA Times". In total there are more than 70 productions that cannot be shot as planned due to the corona virus.
