Netflix: a first teaser for Guillermo Del Toro’s horrific Black Mirror


The collaboration between Guillermo Del Toro and Netflix is ​​bearing fruit and is revealed a little more with a first glimpse of Cabinet of Curiosities, his anthological horror series, which allows him to surround himself with many talents.

While waiting for his Pinocchio, Guillermo del Toro presents its selection of sinister stories, each more terrifying than the other, in its horror anthology Cabinet of Curiosities. It took almost four years after the announcement of the project before we had the first images of this series, which brings little-known tales to life, some of which are based on the work of HP Lovecraft.

The acclaimed and Oscar-winning director has surrounded himself well for this project, both in writing and in directing, with talents he has chosen, such as Vincenzo Natali (Cube), Jennifer Kent (The Babadook), David Prior (The Empty Man), Ana Lily Amirpour (A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night), Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight), Panos Cosmatos (Mandy), David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight).

On the casting side, there are also beautiful people, including Andrew Lincoln (The Walking Dead), Rupert Grint (the Harry Potter saga), F. Murray Abraham (Mythic Quest), Crispin Glover (Back to the Future), Ben Barnes (Shadow and Bones), Essie Davis (Miss Fisher), Eric André (Disenchanted) but also the French Sofia Boutella (Kingsman).

Audiences should expect to discover 8 chilling stories, ranging from macabre to magical and from gothic to grotesque, including two original stories by Del Toro. The Cabinet of Curiosities series will be available in 2022 on Netflix.
