Netflix: a Kung Fu Panda series ordered by the platform

Po is back! The famous kung fu fan panda will be the hero of a Netflix animated series, still dubbed in the original version by Jack Black.

After three feature films released between 2008 and 2016, several short films and two series, The Incredible Legend broadcast between 2011 and 2016 on Nickelodeon and Les Pattes du destin broadcast between 2018 and 2019 on Prime Video, the world of Kung Fu Panda will expand with a new series, this time expected on Netflix.

DreamWorks Animation took advantage of National Panda Day in the United States to break the news on social media. Titled Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight, the series will see Po team up with a down-to-earth English knight in hopes of finding some very powerful magical weapons, also coveted by two mysterious weasels. An epic adventure awaits the two mismatched warriors!

For the occasion, it is Jack Black who will lend his voice to Po in the original version, as he had done in the three Kung Fu Panda feature films. A return that should delight fans of the franchise since the actor had not doubled his furry alter-ego since the third film.

Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight is coming to Netflix soon.
