Once upon a time there was Rocco Siffredi… Netflix has just revealed the first photos of its series on the life and work of the star with 1500 X-rated films.
Rocco Siffredi… naked (!). It is in a Netflix series, called Supersex, that the porn star will reveal little-known or even unknown aspects of her life. Freely inspired by his life, marked in particular by more than 1,500 pornographic films, the seven-episode drama confirms the platform’s investment in Italy as the number of its local subscribers increases, with new Italian productions or co-productions. Created and written by Italian screenwriter Francesca Manieri (We Are Who We Are, L’Immensita), known as a feminist activist, Supersex will feature Italian star Alessandro Borghi (The Eight Mountains) in the main role, as well as Saul Nanni (the interpreter of Tancredi in the next series adaptation of The Cheetah) in his young version.
“Rocco told me with great honesty and confidence certain little-known facets of himself,” said Alessandro Borghi (via Tech Game World). “He took me to his house, took out 10 hard drives of family photos, auditions from the last 20 years, videos. I met an incredible human being who lives in fear of disappointing others and who has always lived with a sexual addiction that has (internally) killed him.”
The series will tell “a profound story” according to Variety, which will traverse the life and professional journey of Rocco Siffredi, focusing on his childhood, his family and his special relationship with the love that led him to undertake a career in the X cinema.
Remember that the “Italian stallion” subsequently distinguished himself in traditional cinema, with roles with Catherine Breillat (Romance and Anatomy of Hell) and a documentary on his life (Rocco) released in 2016.
