The collaboration between Mike Flanagan and Netflix always sparks. After The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor and more recently Sermons de Minuit, the American filmmaker returns with a new horror series: The Midnight Club.

Based on the novel of the same name by Christopher Pike, The Midnight Club follows a group of teenagers in a hospital reserved for teenagers with serious pathologies. These terminally ill young patients from Rotterdam Home meet every day at midnight to share scary stories.

Elsewhere, the group makes a pact that the first of them to die is forced to contact the others from the afterlife, for goosebumps that promise to be memorable. In any case, this is what the first teaser for the series promises, unveiled on the occasion of Netflix Geeked.

The images show us the characters who will roam the corridors of this medical residence and find themselves at midnight in the dark to play it “Fais moi”. The shrill music and creepy atmosphere complete this first look at the series, which will come to torment you from October 7 on Netflix.

The cast of The Midnight Club is notably composed of Heather Langenkamp, the heroine of the cult Claws of the Night, who will play an enigmatic doctor, of Zach Gilford known for his debut in Friday Night Lights, but also of Igby Rigney, already seen in Midnight Sermons.
