Netflix and the FAST Channels

During the presentation of the accounts for the fourth quarter of 2022, Ted Sarandos, the co-CEO of Netflix answered a question concerning the FAST Channels. His answer was very clear: “Look, we’re open to all of these different models that are out there right now, but we’ve got a lot on our plate this year, both with paid sharing and with our launch of advertising and continuing this series of content that we’re trying to deliver to our members, so we’re keeping an eye on that segment, that’s for sure.”

A statement that leaves the suspense hanging over a possible arrival of Netflix in this market segment. It is recalled that Netflix already offers a Direct function which comes in the form of FAST Channel.
