We saw it on social networks. Many fans have been clamoring for a Lucifer season 5 broadcast date on Netflix. The streaming platform kept saying that the rest of the series was coming "soon" leaving admirers of actor Tom Ellis in the dark. This Monday, June 22, Netflix officially announced the date for the return of the hit series and, inevitably, this announcement did not go unnoticed. Fans will be able to find Tom Ellis from August 21 on the streaming platform.

This broadcast date has a very special meaning. Indeed August 21 is very timely since it will be the day before the Warner's great DC Fandome virtual convention. It will be the first part of season 5. The broadcast of this season will therefore be in two stages, according to Netflix. This new season will thus include 16 episodes but there are only 8 episodes that will be available from August 21.

History to make the Devil's admirers wait a little longer, Netflix announced this broadcast date by posting a video of Lucifer's hottest moments since the start of the series. Content that is timely when you know that we will have to wait another month to discover the new adventures of our favorite serial character.

Finally, Tom Ellis signs for a season 6 of Lucifer
