Netflix comes up empty: Amazon Prime grabs a complete cult series

Amazon manages a real coup, because if you want to watch all seasons of the cult series “Fargo”, you can now only do so with Prime Video within the flat rate – previous Netflix viewers, on the other hand, are left in the dark.

The “Fargo” series has been inspiring people since 2014 – an American crime series that is both a loose adaptation and a kind of spin-off of the 1996 cult film by Ethan and Joel Coen of the same name. Each season is self-contained and takes place in different time periods. Always top-class cast, among others we meet Billy Bob Thornton, Martin Freeman, Kirsten Dunst, Ewan McGregor and Chris Rock.

Amazon is snatching Netflix Season 4 from Fargo

Sales in this country, on the other hand, is anything but constant. Seasons 1 to 3 were and are still available on Netflix, while the long-awaited season 4 premiered at the end of 2020 on Joyn, ProSiebenSat.1 Media’s paid service – so even then Netflix was surprisingly empty-handed. To date, season 4 is missing on Netflix – annoying for fans.

However, anyone who has also subscribed to Amazon Prime Video (1 month free trial) can now look forward to it. Then since March 13th we have found all 4 seasons within the flat rate (Watch Season 4 on Amazon Prime Video, Watch Seasons 1 to 3 on Amazon Prime Video). Viewers who still haven’t seen season 4 can finally catch up and those who don’t know Fargo at all finally have the opportunity to watch all seasons in one go.

The fans have been waiting for this for a long time:

By the way: First a 5th season was recently confirmed, which is set to take place in 2019 and thus adopt a more contemporary ambience. It should probably be filmed at the end of 2022, so a release could be in 2023 or maybe not until 2024. In any case, there is still enough time to watch all previous seasons on Prime Video until then.

Why only watch good movies on Netflix? Trash can also be worthwhile:

Outstanding Reviews: Watch!

In any case, it’s worth it – fans and critics agree. the To date, IMDb has given it an excellent 8.9 out of 10 possible points. At Rotten Tomatoes it looks similarly good: 93 percent are from the professional critics, 84 percent from the public. That’s where it pays to tune in.
